Hello. I’m a curator and producer with a decade of experience working on design and craft exhibitions, artist-led public engagement, research, and creative programming. My research enquiry, ‘The Amateur Ancestor Project,’ focuses on developing ways to practice Long-Term thinking through interaction with museum collections. Committed to socially engaged and environmentally conscious practices, I work with partners who put culture at the heart of systemic change. A graduate of the V&A/RCA MA in Design History 2012, I’ve worked with clients including the Crafts Council, Design Museum, Jane Withers, Tyne and Wear Archive and Museums and UP Projects. Client projects include curating a touring exhibition of two Grayson Perry tapestries (‘Julie Cope’s Grand Tour’, Crafts Council), project management of significant exhibitions (‘Azzedine Alaïa the Couturier’ and ‘Weird Sensation Feels Good’ at Design Museum) and one of the longest public artworks in the UK (‘Newham Trackside Wall’ by Sonia Boyce for UP Projects). My self-initiated projects have focused on regenerative economics (‘Non Pavilion’ installation), ecocentric design (‘Designing London National Park City’ audio journey) and Craft and the Commons (‘Common Ground’ engagement project). I am an associate of Climate Museum UK.
