My current responsibilities include processing round wood, carpentry and cabinet making New skills including how to drive a JCB Loadall and tractors, saw mill operation, welding and plasma cutting.
Working with Sherwood Keogh gaining experience in round wood construction and green woodworking building his workshop and living accommodation as seen on BBC’s Countryfile and Channel 4’s Grand designs.

Working at the site of a new piano showroom and apartment build, work included laying a 300sqm oak parquet floor. Sole responsibility for stud walling, dry lining, painting, general finishing. Other tasks included delivering grand pianos and other equipment.

A busy site where I was involved in a wide variety of first fix, including erecting trussed roofs and stud walls, laying joists and floor coverings, along with second fix work of fitting skirting and window boards.

My course covered both the theory and practical aspects of a wide variety of
carpentry techniques such as laying floors, hanging doors and erecting roofs. Alongside this I worked on various jobs with qualified carpenters and joiners throughout my time on this course.
VRQ Level 1, Automotive Maintenance and Repair, Colchester Institute. This course taught me skills in vehicle repair and maintenance from mechanical and electrical work to tyre fitting and diagnostics.
